Whatever you’re looking for, Curaçao promises you a magnificent travel experience.
Like Aruba and Bonaire, Curaçao is a transcontinental island that is geographically part of South America but is also considered to be part of West Indies and one of the Leeward Antilles. Curaçao and the other ABC Islands are in terms of climate, geology, flora and fauna more akin to nearby Paraguaná Peninsula, Guajira Peninsula, Isla Margarita, Araya and the nearby Venezuelan areas of the Coro region and Falcón State.
The flora of Curaçao differs from the typical tropical island vegetation. Xeric scrublands are common, with various forms of cacti, thorny shrubs, evergreens, and the island’s national tree, divi-divis. Curaçao’s highest point is the Sint Christoffelberg 375 m (1,230 ft). Ten kilometers off the coast of Curaçao, to the south-east, lies the small, uninhabited island of Klein Curaçao (“Little Curaçao”).
About the surroundings:
Westpunt is the name of the westernmost point of the island of Curaçao in the Netherlands Antilles, and is also the name of a nearby small town, the island’s northernmost settlement. The island’s northernmost point, Watamula lies only two kilometres to the northeast. Westpunt is also a beach on the island as well.
The villa is situated next to the the Kura Hulanda Lodge and Resort. The Kura Hulanda Lodge and Resort is located on 350 acres all on the western most point of the Curaçao Island. The resort features a freeform pool overlooking the beach and ocean below, providing both relaxing areas to absorb the sun’s rays as well as crisp water to cool off in. An onsite dive shop located directly on the beach offers all of your diving and snorkeling needs. Combine that with motorized and non-motorized sports, a fully equipped fitness center, tennis courts, bicycle and hiking trails, and it becomes obvious that all visitors are provided with more than enough indoor and outdoor activities to last a vacation. Dine while overlooking the sea, or enjoy oceanside cocktails along with views of the sunset to provide the perfect setting to wind down the day.
